The 2023 MACE Annual National will be hosted by the University of the Western Cape (UWC) in Cape Town on 15 and 16 November 2023.

The 2022 Annual MACE Conference took place in Pretoria at Future Africa on the University of Pretoria’s Hilcrest Campus on 16 and 17 November 2022. It was the first congress in two-years since Conference 2019.

In 2019 MACE celebrated its 30-year anniversary in the gateway to the Eastern Cape, Port Elizabeth, under the theme “We are turning 30 – more has changed since MACE came into existence than in the 2 000 years before that – what’s next?”

Conference 2018 was hosted by the Cape Peninsula University of Technology (CPUT) and the MACE Board of Directors at CPUT’s Bellville Campus.

Conference 2017 was hosted by the MACE Board, with the kind support of the University of the Witwatersrand (Wits).

In 2016, the MACE Annual Conference returned to Cape Town – the Mother City. The Conference was hosted by the MACE National Board of Directors, and held at the Pearson Institute of Higher Education in Durbanville. A record 207 delegates attended the conference.
