Nonku Pitje

Nonku is a Chief Growth Officer of Discovery Health and Head of Group Strategic Client Solutions Hub. She is an Executive Director on the Discovery Health Board and serves as a member of Discovery Health Executive Committee and the South African Executive Committee. She leads the expansion of Discovery Health into new markets and the growth of the Discovery Business to Business strategy – focused on building value adding employer solutions, to support and improve the health and wellness of their employees. Nonku is a seasoned leader, with over 20 years’ experience in solving business problems across varied functional business areas. She is driven by the need to meaningfully make a difference in her organisation, colleagues, clients, and the country. She is passionate about being a force for social good by contributing to the economic inclusion of those currently systematically excluded people in our country.
Nonku believes that leading in business and leading people is a privilege; and that because of this privilege, every day she learns, she changes, and she grows.
